 An Amazing, Changing world

Lava explodes into the air on Hawaii as it hits the sea Using slides from his expeditions around the world, David will examine some of the fundamental forces that shape our planet; from glaciers, rain, plate tectonics and volcanoes - to mankind causing species extinction. A personal thought provoking exposition on the evolution of time and our planet. Diverse places including Iceland (actually a piece of ocean floor as a volcanic plate margin breaches the Atlantic's surface) and Hawaii (where craters of heaving lava mimic the forces of plate tectonics) will be used as examples.
